About Us

I’ve been fortunate enough to be a special effects artist, sculptor, and designer for over 20 years. My career has spanned film, television, theme parks, Halloween product design, and medical simulation. I've contributed to productions such as Inception, Avengers, The Town, Iron Man 3, and television shows including House, CSI: Vegas, and NCIS. There's a good chance you've seen some of my designs at Spirit Halloween or walked past a character I sculpted at Universal Studios.

Before my special effects career, I worked as a biologist aboard commercial fishing vessels in the Bering Sea and coast of New England. That experience gave me a deep respect for science and the natural world—something that still influences my creative process today.

Currently, I work as a Simulation Engineer at the Mayo Clinic, where I apply the same creative and technical skills to develop lifelike medical models that enhance education, research, and hands-on training. I couldn’t imagine a better place to merge my love for science and art.

I combine traditional sculpting and painting with modern digital tools to bring designs to life. This hybrid approach gives me both efficiency and creative freedom. I’m always honing my traditional techniques while exploring new technology—whether it’s pencil, clay, paint, polygons, 3D printing, or AI—whatever delivers the best results.

I’m always open to new commissions and creative collaborations. If you have a project in mind—or just want to say hello—feel free to reach out through the contact button below.
